Apple will use OLED display on all upcoming iPhones from 2025
The tech giant apple has decided to completely shift from LED (Light-emitting diode) display to OLED (Organic light-emitting diode) display which will adversely affect the supply chain of Japan’s famous companies Sharp Corp and Japan Display who had been supplying the LED displays to apple for years. A report says that Apple has already started placing orders for OLED display for its upcoming models from BOE Technology in China and LG Display in South Korea. As Sharp Corp and Japan Display are not in mass production of OLED based panels so, these companies will no longer be in handset business with apple. However, these two companies refused to make any comments on this report. Apple used OLED based displays first time in iPhone X in 2017.
